FAQ’s

When will I need a new roof?

Sometimes roofs need to be replaced sooner rather than later, whether it be faulty installation or particularly brutal weather that wears the shingles down quicker. Either way, keep an eye out for these tell-tale signs that it may be time to call our roofing services.

  • There are wet spots in the plaster of your ceiling, attic, or crawling spaces
  • Your shingles are cracked, curled, missing, or broken
  • The texture of your roof is spongy, indicating signs of rot
  • There is water backed up underneath the shingles
  • Your flashing is damaged or broken completely

Even if you don’t see any of these things, it is good practice to regularly have contractors perform inspections on your roof to prevent from such damage taking place. Doing so will lengthen the lifespan of your roof, and save you the trouble of a sudden repair that costs more most of the time.

What should I do before, you start roofing?

There are a couple of things you can do prior to making the process a little easier. The first one would be to remove loose items from your walls and shelves. This means things like paintings, wobbly sculptures picture frames, etc. There will be a lot of hammering and vibrations going on and on top of your roof, so make sure to remove those items to keep them from falling.

Clearing your driveway and the area around the walls of your house helps as well. This will make sure that the contractors have plenty of space to move around and place their equipment. Little things like this ensure that the operation is carried out just a little more smoothly.
